Secretary Samuel W. Bodman served as the 11th Secretary of Energy from January 31, 2005 through January 20, 2009 under President George Bush.

Secretary Bodman also served as Deputy Secretary of the Treasury (February 2004 – January 2005) and the Deputy Secretary of Commerce (January 2001 – December 2003).
