General John F. Campbell served as the 16th and final Commander, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) from August 26, 2014 through December 28, 2014, when ISAF ceased combat operations and began its advisory role as part of ISAF's successor organization, the Resolute Support (RS) Mission.
