General Lori J. Robinson served as the 7th Commander, US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) from May 13, 2016 through to May 24, 2018. She is the first female in the history of the United States Armed Forces to command a major Unified Combatant Command.

In 2016, General Robinson was named to Time magazine's list of 100 most influential people.
