With the activation of IMCOM, Community and Family Support Center (CFSC) became the FMWRC on 24 October 2006.  On 3 June 2011, the FMWRC was deactivated in a ceremony at Fort Sam Houston.  Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation services became the G-9 within the Installation Management Command (IMCOM).
